When a person works everyday, struggling to go to work in the horrible traffic all he or she can think of is a good relaxing holiday with no cellphone connections or Internet or any sort of sound from the traffic.
Zuri is the place to head to if u are looking for something like that.
We took a morning flight from bangalore and landed Cochin by 9.30. We took a self driving car which worked out quiet cheap for us as cabs there are very expensive.
Google maps helped us reach Zuri. The roads are pretty simple to understand too.
We stated there for three nights but I guess two nights would have been sufficient enough. There is nothing much to see around in kumarakom. So we just laid around in the hotel and spent one afternoon at the allepey beach which is one hrs drive
from Zuri.
It's a nice resort. Worth every penny. WiFi is weak. Cell phone reception ain't that great. The hotel gives u discounts on spa and drinks. They include a boat ride and evening tea and snacks. We took breakfast and dinner package. Small swimming pool. But good view from the pool. Kid friendly and good food.
