Very boring airport. Seriously.

From Singapore, I flew to Bali on my own. The plan was for me to meet up with my best friend, DC in Bali. This trip was special to us because it was his first trip to Bali and it was also for us to celebrate his birthday together. Bali has always been one of my favorite holiday destinations but meeting a best friend made it even more special.

The food is amazing. Everything is honed to perfection. Every single dish, every single cocktail. Can't decide what to have? Order everything or IF you absolutely have to decide on one dish, go for the Risotto.

A restaurant, cafe, bookstore all in one. There are lotsa quaint little secrets you can find here. Always a thing or two you can buy, and the money would go towards charity. Owner Asri is extremely friendly and always with a smile. Go for their afternoon tea, their scones are fab! On certain days, they have tarot readings and in-house musicians. This was also the place DC played a gig at! And blew the crowd away!

If you are a firm believe in value-for-money, stay at Bali Island Villas! When it comes to private pools in a villa, a lot of villas in Bali come with a tiny plunge pool or pools that gives you perhaps four to five strokes max. The pool for each villa at Bali Island Villas is wonderful, gives you a chance to actually swim! The deck chairs are perfect for sunbathing and there's even an outdoor bed upstairs for an in-house massage session!

The whole place seemed to give out a very Bob Marley No-Woman-No-Cry vibe. In a very good way. Cool crowd, cool bartenders and extremely good prices! It's right opposite Biku so perfect way to end the night after a massive dinner at Biku!
