On 31st December 2020, I was traveling down from Darjeeling. The video will take you through the roads that I have covered while coming down. You too will get to understand the conditions of the road. I know that the video is a bit long, but to give you a proper idea about the road I have included all the required details.
From Darjeeling to Matigara it is 59.7 km which will take around 2 hr 20 mins. From Matigara you have to take right for Bagdogra. The elevation will be mostly downhill. In some places, the road repair work is going on, so traffic movement in these locations will be slow. Otherwise, the road condition is very good now and you will enjoy the drive with great music and natural beauty.
