Kinnaur district in Himachal always mesmerised us whenever came across some random pictures on net or television. One fateful day the plan finalised and Diwali holidays were put to a good use of time. Starting Very early in the morning (around 3.AM) Hills were reached at dawn and Sun rising from behind the mountains and the sunlight slowly engulfing the area made it more enchanting. It is a long travel from Chandigarh (around 350 KMs). After Crossing Shimla(110 kms from Chandigarh) the scenic beauty of Himalyas is at its best, Though roads somewhere can give you a little trouble because of the Jaypee Power projects otherwise drive is awesome. Crossing Rampur Bushehar(150 Kms from Shimla) you  are on one of the most amazing and dangerous roads in the world. After Driving 160 Kms. from shimla you reach Jeori taking a right turn driving 18 kms we reach Srahan a beautiful place famous for Bheema Kali Temple which was visted on our way back from Sangla. For travellers it is suggested to keep your fuel tanks full and carry some food items with them as there is scarcity of fuel pumps and Eateries. Do make multiple stops and enjoy the views, Snow covered peaks, Pine forests, dangerous valleys etc.
