Pune to Goa road trip
Trip was started after long discussion that we should go by our own car or by bus becoz we were only two ppl. Everybody said go by bus, but the bug inside me to do a famous roadtrip by car was saying just do it. After convincing my wife a lot we made our plan to start at 4:00 am. We left home at 5:00 a.m, bit late but good time to start becoz of less traffic, no bikes, cool car engine and good mileage. We stopped for 1 hour approx at kohlapur (224 km in 3 hours) toll to have breakfast and letting the engine cool down. Then we started for amboli road diversion from nipali, this was awesome, dense forest, monkey's, on the road, several waterfall and nice valley from the top. This took me another 4 hours to cover 183 km to my hotel. I reached around 1:00 p.m at my room. Finished my road trip in 8 hours was beyond my expectation. Return i started late at 7:30 a.m. and it took me 9 hours due to traffic and toll congestion. Recommeded to start at 5:30 or 6:00 a.m from Goa to avoid traffic and afternoon temperature. All credit goes to my lovely cute little Honda brio which gave me smooth ride. In terms of money overall 4000 INR I spend in petrol and tolls. Mileage 17/ltr.
Nice beach to have watersports and dinner. crowded ;)
Good road from baga to arambol , and peaceful beach, too much hawkers but still good to spend entire daytime.
