I consider myself very lucky that I’m born in Himachal, a place where every day; you meet something new and beautiful be it nature, be it culture, be it art, be it monument. Here’s my very first trip on Tripoto about a place which is beautiful beyond words. This place is ‘’Nandrool’’ in Kangra District of Himachal Pradesh. I just came across this place’s photos through some random posts on Instagram.The photos were giving beautiful eye-catching scenic view & then I decided that I must just go to see this place.
Nandrool is located in Purana Kangra of Kangra District. It is just about 1-2KM away from Kangra Fort which is itself very famous tourist attraction in Kangra.My home is in Mandi District of Himachal so this place is 131KM/3Hours away from my place. Me and Friend, we both decided a road trip to this place on weekend through scooty.We started our journey at 6:00AM in the morning.Packed some stuff to eat in the journey. Foggy roads, lush green mountains and cool breeze, what more could we ask for.
Driving scooty in mountainous roads was not that easy as It took us around 3.5 Hours to reach to the Spot. But when we reached the place it was truly, truly worth it. Beautiful green landscape with beautiful road made us both scream at each other ‘Damn, we found this place’. We sat there for some time, chilled together and had the stuff we packed in the morning. It was just about 1.5km away from main town area of Purana Kangra.So after chilling there for 1 hour we decided to go to Nearby Kangra Fort.

After visiting fort, we both decided to have lunch in nearby town’s Dhaba which costed us around 300Rs Total. After having our lunch we had to head back to home as it was one day trip so we had to be back by evening. This entire one day trip costed us around 1000 Rs.600 Rs.Fuel 300 Rs.Lunch 80 Rs. Breakfast summing up to 980Rs.
