Day 1 Morning 3:30 Am I started road trip to wayand from Bengaluru . The route which I choose is Bengaluru -(NH275) -mysore -(NH766)- gundlupet -Bandipur national park,(NH766) open (6am to 9pm)- sultan bathery.
While passing through bandipur National park road you can see herd of spotted deer.
10Am we reached our 1st destination for day eddakal caves
There are no caves in eddakal caves but rather it's rock shelter at Stone age time
While going toward to eddakal caves there are lot of shop for home made chocolate and fish spa "10 minutes" for 50RS.
12 pm I left From eddakal caves toward karlad lake which around 39 km from there. On way I stop at kalpetta town for lunch i had Kerala biryani there.
2:30 I reached at karlad lake .it famous for it's Zipline and kayaking and pedal boat
Kayaking fees- 230Rs -2 member for 20 minutes.
3:30 we reached banasura dam from karlad lake it's around 9 know from karlad lake
300rs for Zipline
I stayed in meppadi in malabar hotel which around 7 km from chembra peak so morning at 6 AM we left from our hotel toward chembra peak . Morning sunrise and tea plantation look so mesmerizing that you feel u are in heaven .
Visiting fee is 20rs up to watch tower
From watch tower is starting point of trek it's around 3 to 4 hour trek. Trekking fee -750 RS (upto 10 members can there in 1 team ).
Not so recommend for kids and heart patient.. because it is too steep and uneven surface.
2pm we had our lunch in Ruchi mess in meppadi town where we have local kerala cusinee.
3:30 pm reached toward soochipara waterfall which is around 9km from chembra peak .after long day of trek you will feel tired nothing will be better than waterfall to rejuvenate body and mind.
It was our Last day of our trip .so last night we travelled from soochipara waterfall to mananthvady town . Where we took a home stay for 1000 Rs . Morning at 8:30 we left our room toward kuruvadweep (6km). We did bamboo rafting there.it was altogether a new experience for us. 5 member -500 RS/ 2 member -300 rs
