“Sail to Antarctica”

Tripoto

A sailing trip to explore Antarctica is like walking into a dream. The eye-catching beauty of the place should not be missed.

The M/S Expedition was introduced to polar waters in 2009. Originally built in Denmark in 1972 to work as a car and passenger ferry, the boat is fully ice strengthened and recently refurbished to a high standard. On board you will find large amounts of open public space and deck areas, along with ample-sized cabins, restaurant and a huge wet room. There is a full complement of Zodiacs and experienced expedition leaders, and there is even a sauna to relax and warm up in at the end of a day. All the comfortable cabins have portholes or windows and en suite facilities. The panoramic deck offers superb 360 degree views, and there are some really nice touches such as a big library full of travel books and jovial mementos on the walls of the bars. This is a spacious, sturdy and relaxed gem of a boat.
