Sikkim is a landlocked Indian state located in the Himalayan mountains. The state is bordered by Nepal to the west, China's Tibet Autonomous Region to the north and east, and Bhutan to the east.

Nathula Pass was a major corridor of passage between India and China..an altitude of 14,450 ft, the road to Nathula passes through the Tsomgo lake. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world and is richly surrounded by alpine flora. Tourists are allowed to go close to the international border from where you can see Chinese soldiers on the other side of the barbed wire.The only one authorised road between India and china..
Ravangla is a small tourist town situated at an elevation of 7000 ft in South Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim. It is connected by to major towns in the state and lies between Pelling and Gangtok. Ravangla offers unmatched views of the Greater Himalayas.
Situated in the west district of Sikkim,. On your way you will pass Singsor bridge, said to be the second highest bridge in Asia. The height of Uttarey is about 6600 ft...Other important tourist spots around Uttare include the Mainbus Waterfall and the Chewyabhang Pass. This pass is about 10 km of Uttarey and is the gateway to Nepal.
Rumtek Monastery, also called the Dharmachakra Centre, is a gompa located in the Indian state of Sikkim near the capital Gangtok.
