The seven sisters of the North East India are majorly unexplored. But the mesmerising and heartfelt beauty of these wonders of nature has seen a boom in tourism in the recent years. One of the major attractions of the northeastern beauties is ‘The Mountain Kingdom of Sikkim. The snowcapped Himalayan mountains, diverse flora and fauna, rich culture,monasteries and what not : nestled in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas are surely a must see.

Sikkim is a state of The Republic of India which shares its borders with Bhutan, Nepal and Tibet. Sikkim is least populated and second smallest state; but, as a matter of fact, it is the third highest income Indian State.

Gangtok has emerged as one of the prominent and most profound tourist destination for all those seeking for some good time in hill stations of north eastern India. The history station is bestowed with a rich diversity in culture and heritage, a peaceful meditation hotspot, the green vegetation and one of the most clean states of India.

Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim which itself is the second smallest state of India. It is situated at a height of around 5000 ft above sea level.

A major portion of Gangtok remain covered in the snow prominently the area under the Khangchenzonga National Park, which itself is masterpiece of beauty. Moreover Sikkim is a state which experiences five different seasons viz: Winter, Summer, Autumn, Spring and the monsoon.Also, it receives a regular rainfall.

Gangtok is suitably connected with rail-route, buses and airways.

By Train - Nearest railway station is New Jalpaiguri in Siliguri (148km)

By Air - Nearest airport is Bagdogra, WestBengal

By Road - NH16 comfortably covers the roadway.

Best season to visit gangtok is Oct-Nov.
