Day 1

Singapore is considered as one of the most expensive holiday destination in the world, however one can surely travel this country in a  budget. It all requires a little prior and well planning which normally we Indians prefer to do before any trip.
Here I bring some small tips for your upcoming budgeted Singapore trip in order to make the most of it!!
Air travel: You can book your flights to Changi international airport via Chennai/Kolkata. There are many budget airlines like Scoot, Air India, Indigo airlines  offering low fare from these cities. Starting 8000 INR. Fare may vary according to season of travel.

Your sight seeing starts from the Changi airport itself.  Changi Airport has been made to drawn the tourist attention right from the arrival.
Jewel is a must seen.
Transfers: Public transportation is one of the cheapest and best transfers option while travelling in Singapore. One can easily track local buses on Google. Mrt is another cheap and fastest travelling option. Taxis on the other hand are costlier yet faster than any other transportation. If you are willing to travel by taxi in Singapore dont forget to  download Grab which is the online taxi service like Uber.
We kind of used all the above options as per the suitability and our schedule.

Stay: For Indians I would strongly recommend staying near little India. Little India is locality which is majorly occupied by South Indians. You can get the budgeted as well comfort level hotels easily.
Food: There are many Indian restaurant in the Singapore. Consider spending 1000/- INR per person each meal. Water is basically very costly, we drank tap water every where. It's safe and sanitized.

3. Zoo and night Safari: This is the part of Singapore which I personally loved the most. Safari is done in dark night by a ride on the tram. Unfortunately due to no flash I couldn't capture pictures of the animals. Charges : 2500 INR pp.
4. Universal studios: it is situated at Sentosa island. So you are traveling with your kids and you are open to spend one entire day with the hollywod themes and cartoon world, this is the place for you. Almost every ride and show in the studio was thrilling and amazing. Entry charges are 4000 INR per adult.
