Singapore is one of today's greatest cities. It's richness and successful multicultural model attracts tourists and expats from all over the world. City's top class tourist policy had proven very successful over the last decade and now it's the second most preferred spot (second only to Dubai) for wealthy people to hang out and spend some cash. That's the image city officials want to project to the world. However, that does not mean middle class earners could not afford to visit Singapore for a week or so. It's all about careful planing and targeting the right attractions.

So what is there to see in this miraculous city? Singapore is a perfectly clean & gleaming city full of attractions and 10 is a small number to describe them all. Marina Bay's pool view is probably an amazing experience, but I decided not to spend money on such a cliche attraction. Instead, as a nature & culture lover I mostly visited parks and museums. Restaurants & night life attractions are also not present in my list, since most of the tour guides and reviews are entirely dedicated to food & entertainment. I did visit couple of night clubs and bars, tried some of Singapore most praised dishes, but those are not experiences I would spend time describing. For me nature and local culture is something deeper and enriching, hence worth writing for.

Here's my top ten Singapore attractions:

1. Esplanade Park

2. Merlion Park

3. Art Science Museum

4. Fort Canning Park

5. Asian Civilizations Museum

6. Jurong Bird Park

7. Gardens By The Bay

8. Lian Shan Shuang Lin Temple

9. Southern Ridges

10. Night Safari
