This tour to Manali was completely random. It was all according to the plan that I had to be in my uncle's place in Delhi (2014 winter).
The random part is from when I decided to chuck my uncle's car for a drive to Chandigarh! I always craved for the Punjabi butter chicken and that bucket full of lassi. But this just got extended, you know. I placed a few calls and with the due course of funding and permission, I was in Manali. Trust me, I still don't believe place like that actually exists. Those ice/snow covered mountains which blocks the sun rays so easily !
The curvy roads over the mountains adds up to the trip if you are a rider!
Unfortunately, roads were accessible only till sohlang valley when I had visited Manali. Sohlang gave me a lifetime experience; paragliding from 3500m high altitude. I literally coudnt breathe. I'm not kidding. Night skies were filled with stars. Here in Bangalore you can literally count them. But there, it truely was uncountable! The days there just got me gazing at the massive huge mountains topping thousand meters just like that.
On the way back, I went to Shimla and then Delhi.
Shimla is quite commercial relative to manali. Not to deny, that's the place which represents proper Himalayan range! Kufri and narkhanda
! The problem is after Manali, shimla goes low. I still can't believe I was there in that wonderland.
I wanna go back again.
I wouldn't mind admitting this; but this place does have the potential to heal the most deepened wound in you, Physical or mental be it. You learn how terrible your life is not because of this extremely splendid place, it's because you havnt yet visited here. (For all those who havnt visited) For who's been here, call me if you going again because I already miss it bad.
