Very excited as getting away from my corporate life to finding myself again, I have waited from long time to make this happen and day finally arrived take a bus from majnu ka tila to mcleodganj which cost me 850 bucks for semi sleeper as buses from delhi to Himachal are leaving from there.
Finally arrived Mcleodganj bus dropping point then after take shared cab which cost me 50 bucks to main market and after check into hotel which cost 700 bucks and after quick bath I take a cab from main market to gullu mata devi temple which cost me 400 bucks as it is fixed priceprice then after a quick check in the check post.
10 O'Clock morning I have started my journey towards triund top as the journey is moderate, I take a break to recharge myself at magic view cafe, after having plate of Maggie and cup of tea which cost me 80 bucks the again start my journey last 2 km onwards journey is very trough as the path is straight uphill and after struggling finally I have reached the triund top at 1.30 pm and view from triund top is amazing I just speechless to see the the view and forget everything, after rest for 3 hr in top decided to start journey back to gullu devi temple as I didn't have any booking in triund forest guest house. Of me I took 3. 30 hr to reach top but returning it took only 1.30 hr.
After reaching gullu mata devi, I just take cab back to hotel, take bath went out explore McLeod ganj famous mall road, dalai lama temple, dharamshala, Dharamkot etc.
Note- if you want to stay triund top over night then book in advance forest guest house as it is very limited as camping is banned in triund top or wish to complete the trek to Indraha pass then contact any tour operator as they able made arrangements for the because it's banned by government.
Do & Don't - Carry very light weight backpack if you wish to stay overnight in top or planning to visit indraha pass terk.
* Buy good terk shoe as it is recommended .
* Carry water bottle, energy bar and take little of it in the interval of every 30 minutes as it is keeping to dehydrate.
* don't carry alcohol as there is checking point in the stating point by police but you can carry cigarettes but those who wish to carry know how to smuggle it... 😎
Please don't throw any plastic rapper or water bottles as it may cost you 2000 bucks fine because in check point you have give count for that.
After wake early in the morning I have a sharing cab to dharamshala bus stand from mcleodganj which cost me 20 bucks after reaching bus stand, I have take another bus for palampur which cost me around 60 bucks , after little exploration I take another bus for bir billing , after reaching their I have just entered the bir road I find a paragliding tour operator, and after negotiating the rate was 1700 bucks with gopro recording as I have choose this tour operator because the location is very good and people are well trained and after having a awesome food I took a bus again to visit my next destination that is Shimla.
After reaching early in the morning in Shimla, I explore Shimla like a pro I have visited each and very famous places like Shimla ridge, museum,Christ Church mall road, lakkar bazaar book cafe as it is run by sandeep singh very humble person who are currently serving life imprisonment in Shimla jail and after exploration and went to kufri as it is better and quite place stay as compared to Shimla and only 30 minutes bus drive from Shimla. I book a room which cost me around 900 bucks.
After early morning I have plan visited chail as it is in my bucket list, so start 5.30 am from my hotel to reach, bus take around 1.30 hr to reachbehich cost me around 60 bucks and after reaching and seeing the views it was really amazing specially morning and after exploration I back to hotel .
I was always dream from me to ride a Troy train so I book the train ticket which cost me around 300 bucks as it is first class so after a long journey it nice to treat me like Royal to I book it and more over I want to experience like Royal back in 19 century and luckily I got window seat and the view was really good and it is worth.
And after reaching kalka railway station at 6.30 pm I have little time to explore kalka so I have done it and end of journey at 11 pm my train started and reach delhi next day early morning .
