Coorg is a hill station located in the slope of western ghats. Other nearby famous places are Mysore, Wayanad and Kannur. Coorg is one of the famous destination for south Indian travelers.

Cauvery Nisargadhama

Nisargadhama is a beautiful island, 28 km from Madikeri, surrounded by thick foliage of bamboo groves, sandalwood and teak trees. It also has dears, rabbits, parrots and other few birds. The island is naturally formed by the river Cauvery, offers a magnificent view

Though Coorg isn't as popular as Chikmangalore or Wayanad in trekking, it has few peaks, Tadaindamol Peak and Brahmagiri Trek, for trek lovers.

So Fly over to Bangalore or through road or rail to Mysore to Coorg.

Best Time to Visit

October to March is the Ideal time to enjoy the beauty of Coorg.

P.S: Post trip I found myself repeating few words like Bylakuppe, Gaddige to myself. The sound of the word made an everlasting impression just like the place.
