I urge you to travel alone, I urge you to get lost in mountains, I urge you to take trails less explored, and reach at points where you curse yourself for walking on those travels, I urge you to feel that fear... I urge you to fall in love once again, But this time with yourself first....

Spiti Valley is one of the most stunning and untouched valleys in India. I did a 1 weeks backpacking trip. Delhi-Shimla-Peo-Tabo-Kaza-Kibber-Key-Langza-Komic-Hikkim-Chandratal-Manali-Delhi, this is my trip route. I spent a couple of days in each of these villages , trekking from one to the other. Each village had a couple of homes and a monastery each and got to spend some lovely time with the locals. Backpacking through this region is tough, because of altitude and other climatic conditions but it is also the most fulfilling trip I have had so far. The people are the warmest that I have met. I mostly travel by HRTC. There are only one bus in one day for every place, Kaza to Kibber; Tabo to Kaza.

Hey. I was there in September. January will be colder, Winters are harsh there. But it's good if you want to see snow leopard. Roads will be open via Shimla.
