I visited this place between two trains. Last December (2015) while travelling home from Karaikudi I had about 4 hours in hand and my friend Mr Google helped me find an alternative to sitting at the railway waiting room. At about 2.5 km from the railway station this beautiful cathedral will probably be among the must visits in Tiruchirappalli.
