Stok Kangri- 20,080 feet is the highest mountain in the Stok Range of the Himalayas in the Ladakhi region of northwest India. The peak is located in Hemis National Park 12 km southwest of the trailhead in the village of Stok and around 15 km southwest of the Ladakhi capital of Leh. Irrespective its altitude, Stok Kangri is a popular peak and is often climbed as an initial non-technical excursion into high altitude mountaineering. Stok Kangri is very often underestimated for its difficulty level.
The peak has been assessed safe to climb for teams by expedition holders.
Day 1 :- Arrive Leh
Day 2 :- Leh (11500 ft.) to Chang Ma (13087 ft.) via Stok Village (11800 ft.)
Day 3 :- Chang Ma (13087 ft.) to Mankorma (14200 ft.)
Day 4 :- Mankorma (14200 ft.) to Base camp (16300 ft.)
Day 5 :- Rest day + training day.
Day 6 :- Base camp (16300 ft.) to Stok Kangri (20080 ft.) back to base camp
Day 7 :- Base camp to Leh
Day 8 :- Departure From Leh.
