What to do when you get just few days off and you stay in Delhi NCR? And you really need a view of hills and you lust to feel the chilled breeze across your face.
I had to board the bus after choosing the nearest tranquil destination possible. Well, it was Dhanaulti and this time it was a solo travel.
It was 30 km from Mussourie. I had taken a night bus from Delhi so reached Dhanaulti around 9 am. Well it was a small tinsel town. Lots of camping sites around the place and yes there was silence. Lovely roads, and full of pine trees. Beautiful place to chill out and unwind yourself.
At night there was bit of cloud but with the bright moon the landscape was magical. I took my camera and tripod and disappeared in the lonely woods. It's also a great place if you are into star gazing.
Next day morning I visited the eco parks. I had a chat over chai and lunch with the locals and boarded the evening bus back to den.
