The sun sets but the memories r as bright n vivid!

It was an overwhelming experience. The hills make you their own! You won't feel like getting back to the hustle of a city life. Also, road trip and trekking are the best ways to sink in the vibe of nature. I could not have asked for more peace. A road trip gave me an opportunity to have my own journey in my own way. It was amazing to stop by and meet localites. I can't foget their tanned cheeks, chapped lips and hazel/honey brown/grey eyes. It was a trip to remember! I could enjoy more since I gave it ample time and did not rush into it. I spent 4 days at 4 different cities! Hope my travelogue offers some help! Cheers to nature!

I booked a zoom car from delhi. It is a good option for those who want to travel at their own pace and budget is not much of an issue.

I decided to halt in Dehradun as some rest was needed. Also, being from Doon myself I can never get tired of exploring the city.

So I decided to munch on some amazing cheese momos of Singh soup bar. They are an all time favourite. I bet you will love them too.

The stay was amazing too. Madhuban offers you spacious rooms. The hospitality is too good. Food is good too. What more?

I love the food here. So dinner was planned at prez. Night life in doon is not that happening and you would find almost all places taking last orders by 11. So on a cold winter night, I tried to be adventurous and dared to go on a long drive. The only place open was this!

So I decided to go one step ahead in my craziness and grabbed a black current cone. It was lot of fun.

The hotel had just been revamped and it was great! Very affordable. I think I was destined to get the best things in this trip.

You are lucky if its cloudy in Mussoorie!

Landour is the erstwhile cantonment of the area, occupied by British army from 1880s to 1947. It is less crowded than the mall road of Mussoorie . The famous points are char dukaan and lal tibba. The cheese Maggie and chocolate pancake are to die for. You can get some exotic varieties of cheese.

If u are a trekker, you can't ask for more. Though they have made concrete way to reach here, it is beautiful. You can totally get lost in Sal and Pine woods, befriend amazing doggies and walk and walk and walk! The place will seem different to you every single day, depending on the weather and that is the beauty of it. It never bores you!

You will get snowfall in abundance at Dhanaulti if you go during winters. I love the Eco Park where an environment lover will find paradise. There are steps supported by wooden logs leading you to the highest point of the cliff and the entire cliff has been converted to and ecopark. Various rare species of plants and birds are a delight.

An untouched spot at considerable height from Mussoorie. It is lesser known to tourists. Rather it would be visited by travellers and not tourists, I assume. I stayed in a resort on a quiet cliff. I was cut off from everyone since signals are invariably dead there. I had full one day of peace. Waking up to the sunrise was mesmerising. I felt close to nature in real terms. I walked on moist grass, sipped hot coffee, listened to birds chirp in the background, enjoyed some sun tan. You won't have much to do around the place as the nearest market is in Chamba - 10-11 kms. away but you will get soaked in nature and would find all the materialistic stuff useless if you truly love nature!

This was a beautiful place to stay. The staff was so helpful and humble. I can never forget how they came to serve me hot parathas with butter at the top of the cliff on which I had hiked to enjoy the sunrise. The food was so tasty. It was located on a hill top and there were terraces of local farming below.
