Resident mostly Napalese(predominantly Gorkhas). The famous food that you must taste is Momo and another one is thupka. Rock Garden the famous waterfall which approximately 8-10 km from the town it's has it own beauty with colourful terracedgarden with flowering plants.
Tea Garden if you not visit tea garden then your trip might not complete it is not for tea lover but sweet flavour bending with the atmosphere.
Himalayan zoological park which is also known as Darjeeling zoo or Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoo. It spread 68 acres contain many spice's of animals.
Ghoom Monastery the largest monastery in the town built by Lama Sherab Gyasto in 1875. It is one of major Buddhist pilgrimage places in the town the monastery has a 15ft high statue of buddha which the Buddha's disciples, teaching.
