Thailand is called the city of sex, but it’s very well known as the land of beaches. Today I am going to share with you all - 10 days Itinerary which will cover 4 states in Thailand. Also, I will
Share the best time to travel, where to stay, what to see & how to reach the different states.
So, generally the best time to travel Thailand is from Nov till April. However, I choose to travel in the low season which was in June’2018.
You will get many cheap flights to travel from New Delhi to Bangkok like Indigo, Spice jet, Air India, Thai Airways. & etc. If you don’t want to spend much then please choose Air India, spice jet or Indigo airline. The flight duration is not more than 4 hours. The only drawback from travelling with these airlines is that they don’t have any inflight entertainment option and no meals are also provided. Well, the cost for two and fro for 2 people will be somewhere around INR 30000-40000 considering that you are pre-booing your flights at least 2 months before.
The Itinerary that I designed and worked very well was as below: -
Delhi- Koh Samui 3 nights
Koh-Samui - Krabi 2 nights
Krabi to Pattaya 2 nights
Pattaya - Bangkok 2 nights
Bangkok to New Delhi 2 nights
So, I choose Singapore airlines SQ 403 to travel from New Delhi – Koh Samui. It was 6 hours journey but the travel with SQ was worth travelling. There hospitality was commendable. Food was delicious, drinks are complimentary. Overall, the one-way cost from Delhi to Koh-Samui was INR 27000 for 2 people. Also, this is an interconnecting flight and you will get a layover of hours at Singapore airport. Firstly, Singapore airport is the World's Best Airport by Skytrax. There are many – many things to do free of cost. I got myself a free makeup done by Dior. We visited the Butterfly garden, Sunflower garden & enchanting garden. Well, if you have a long halt then you can also go for a free city Tour. The airport rocks.
Koh-Samui
Here, starts my journey to Koh-samui. The moment I reached Koh-Samui it didn’t look as if I have reached the airport, it was looking like a resort. Well, I would recommend booking a taxi from the hotel to pick you from the airport as its more convenient. They charge you a nominal amount of 200 Baht. After doing all the research online I booked Chaweng Noi Pool Villa, Koh Samui. In total with breakfast it costed me INR 8500 for 3 nights/4 days. It was in the main city center. Markets are near buy just by the access of Tuk-tuk you can reach the main market.
After checking out from the hotel we got a taxi of 400 Baht to drop us to koh -Samui port. So, from here we were to experience the open boat ride. I had booked a ferry to Krabi which costed me INR 1800 for 2 people where half of the travel is via ferry and half is via bus. This travel took around 4.5 hours, and this is the cheapest way to travel between these 2 cities. When we reached Krabi I had already booked the hotel again the city center called as Buri Tara Resort. We stayed here for 2 nights only and it costed me INR 6700 with breakfast. It was near to the market. I got my hair braided which is very famous and cheap here. They have bike tuk-tuk here which is very different. Girls and boys can get themselves pampered every day with massages.
After checking out we again took at hotel taxi for 400 Baht to the Krabi airport. Well, the shortest way to reach Pattaya is via flight. Now you must make sure that you book little early so that you can get the cheapest price. I booked an early morning flight NOK Air and I reached Bangkok at 10:00am in the morning. After reaching the airport just outside the airport there were buses which charge you 100 Baht per person and they will drop you to Pattaya. The most amazing part is that the buses are so comfortable that you can even go in a deep sleep without any disturbance + they have neat and clean toilets inside. Amazing. I had booked A-One Star Hotel in Pattaya. The North Pattaya beach was just a minute away. Guys Just outside the hotel and opposite to the beach there is this Indian restaurant named as Shahi Indian Restaurant. Their food is delicious specially their Aloo paratha. In fact, all the food items were worth eating. Well, from the hotel you can take a tuk- tuk and can reach Walking street- Walking Street Pattaya is the biggest and busiest party hotspot in the whole of Thailand.
The Walking Street area includes seafood restaurants, live music venues, beer bars, discothèques, sports bars, go-go bars, nightclubs and hotels.

From Pattaya there are direct buses which will take you to Bangkok in just Baht 200 per person. However, we took a direct taxi at 1200 BAHt from Pattaya hotel to Bangkok hotel. There are options of all categories of hotels here but this time I wanted to explore the luxury, so I booked lebua at State Tower. We were given the room on the highest floor and the view was breathtaking. It costed me INR 9500 per night with breakfast. The bets mall to go for cheap shopping is 1MBK Mall. You will get everything there at economical prices. I would also suggest visiting MINISO in Bangkok. You can also visit the floating market in Bangkok. We just had a day to spend in Bangkok so couldn’t explore more but if you want you can extend you stay and visit the below: -
