Bali is one of the top tourist destinations in the world, mainly because of its tropical weather, and pristine white-sand beaches. One can also enjoy a plethora of wonders here ranging from stunning waterfalls, scenic landscapes, temples, rice terraces, forests and yoga retreats to the craziest of nightlife and the most happening sundowner parties, hosted by its world-class beach clubs!
While I was in Bali I made sure I experienced a bit of everything and had a jaw-drop reaction to the party scenes I discovered here. Here are my top favorite beach clubs in Bali that you must not miss:
Be prepared to be amazed by the best of Bali -- located on the scenic cliffs of Uluwatu, and crowned with a geometric and iridescent bar rightly called the Cube, Omnia is a world class oceanfront club with an infinity pool, multiple bars and various A-list DJs from all over the world. It serves the best alcohol, and has the most elite crowd making it to the guest list. It is unquestionably one of the best beach clubs not only in Bali but in the world.
Built with reclaimed wood and flip-flops left ashore, Potatohead is a massive amphitheatre transcending tropical modernism through it's swim-up bar, infinity pool, and multiple restaurants serving the best of Continental and Asian cuisine. It serves some of the best cocktails that you can enjoy lying on the sunbeds surrounding the infinity pool, or even in the pool, getting a VIP view to a memorable sunset.
One of the best things about Canggu is Old Man's. It is so popular amongst travellers that many come down to Canggu, just to spend an evening at this seaside club. It is also a surfer's favorite hangout. Old Man's flaunts a fantastic coastal beer garden and the best live music on the island. You'll have trouble picking a spot to enjoy the sunset while sipping-in your tropical drink as the entire place is overlooking the mesmerising white-sand Batu Bolong Beach.
With a one-of-a-kind bamboo pavilion that guarantees a beautiful sunset view to every guest who sets their foot in, Finns is like the new cool kid in town, who everyone wants to be friends with! You can laze around on the colorful day-beds and sunbathe with a Bintang in hand, or just be on one of the party beds floating on? the enormous infinity-lagoon pool and watch the sun go down!
La Favela & Motel Mexicola
Both are my personal favourites, I literally cancelled plans and changed itineraries just to spend another unforgettable night at La Favela, Seminyak. Neither of the two are beach clubs, but demand a special mention here as a trip to Indonesia is not really complete if you haven't been sloshed at La Favela, danced with the bouncers or pole-danced to a palm tree in the club.
At a stone's throw away from the beach, La Favela gives a true tropical-Brazilian vibe (even has a Christ the Redeemer statue inside), while Mexicola teleports you to the heart of Tulum.The two clubs are must-visit places to meet like-minded strangers and are known for being a hotspot for backpackers.
