Ome fine evening when my hubby returned from his office, to my surprise he had a wonderful gift for me - a day trip to the Nagarjuna Sagar on my birthday. My happiness had no bounds as it was a much awaited romantic getaway for us after about four months.

We started early in the morning and it took almost four and a half hours to reach Nagarjuna Sagar.
The first sight of the river Krishna was breathtaking. It was all blue as if vying to be bluer than the vast sky above.
The Nagarjuna Sagar dam was all dry as it was January. Locals informed us that the best time for a visit was the monsoons - in June or July. But we loved the view the place had to offer during that season.
We checked in Hotel Haritha and it was a great place to be. The scenes from our balcony was really awesome. They offered decent food.
