The trip will focus on meaningful cultural exchange with the people of Cuba, who have shown themselves to be as interested in learning about American culture as we are to learn about theirs. This itinerary centers around two contrasting Cuban locales: the capital of Havana (4 nights), where we explore both the vibrant, modern districts and the historic time capsule of Habana Vieja (Old Havana); and the Viñales Valley (3 nights) celebrated for its lush landscape punctuated by dramatic limestone outcroppings.

Best time to visit:
The best time to visit is from December to May with dry sunny days. From June to November Cuba can be hot, humid and wet. During the winter months of December and January daytime temperatures can drop below 20 degrees centigrade whilst in the summer months of July and August temperatures soar, especially in Havana and Santiago de Cuba.
