Welcome to your tour of 'Nepal - The Himalayan Paradise - Summer' tour. The rich heritage and culture of Kathmandu draws the attention of tourists from all over the world. On arrival at the airport in Kathmandu, post customs and immigration, you will be welcomed outside the arrival hall and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisureor one can take a stroll around the market in the evening. Overnight in Kathmandu. (Meals on your own)

Day 2

Today, proceed on an excursion to Nagarkot. Situated at an altitude of about 2,200m, Nagarkot is one of the most picturesque spots in the region, renowned for its sunrise and sunset views of the Himalayas. Later proceed to Bhaktapur, known as the 'City of Devotees'. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this beautiful city. Overnight in Kathmandu (B)

Day 3

Today, proceed on a picturesque drive to the enchanting city of Pokhara. On arrival, check-in to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy the serenity and magnificence of the Himalayas or enjoy a leisurely walk around the serene Phewa Lake. Overnight in Pokhara (B)

Day 4

Spend the day unraveling the wonders of the Pokhara Valley. Enjoy a visit to Bindabasini Temple dedicated to Goddess Durga, who is the goddess of war and Pokhara's chosen guardian deity. Also visit the Gupteshwar Cave, considered to be the longest cave in Nepal where the Shiva Lingam is preserved. Finally visit the Davis Falls, a fascinating waterfall locally known as the Patale Chhango (Nether Fall), which means Underworld Waterfall. The rest of the day is at leisure or one can enjoy boating on Phewa Lake (on direct payment basis). Overnight in Pokhara (B)

Day 6

This morning, enjoy a city tour of Kathmandu, visiting the Pashupatinath temple, Swayambhunath temple, Boudhanath stupa, Kumari Ghar and the old Durbar Square.

The UNESCO World Heritage Site- Pashupatinath temple is regarded as one of the most significant and sacred temple of Lord Shiva (Pashupati).

The Buddhist temple of Swayambhunath or the Monkey Temple, is one of the oldest religious sites and the primary pilgrimage destination for Hindus in Nepal. This temple is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Boudhanath stupa is the oldest and largest stupa and a centre of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It was designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1979.

Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess, Kumari, is known for its ornate carvings as well as its divine inhabitant. It is home to a living goddess, a young girl believed to be the human incarnation of the Hindu goddess Taleju (the Nepalese name for Durga).

Later, stroll through the old Durbar Square, an excellent example of ancient Newari architecture. This iconic landmark contains a series of palaces, courtyards and temples built between the 12th and 18th centuries by the ancient Malla Kings of Nepal. The rest of the day is at leisure to enjoy exploring the markets, pubs and casinos. Overnight in Kathmandu (B)

Day 7

Today, bid farewell to your 'Nepal - The Himalayan Paradise - Summer' tour as you are transferred to the airport for your onward journey.

- 'ACAP PERMIT' ( Annapurna Conservation Area Permit ) for Foreign and Indian Nationals to be collected from ACAP office in Kathmandu and Pokhara. Failing to obtain the ACAP permit at either KTM or PKR will require paying double the amount as a penalty at Jomsom. A copy of the passport and 2 copies of passport size photos are required while applying for the permit. Clients will have to obtain this permit on their own as agents are not entertained. However we shall assist the clients for the same.
