Reaching my destination-Jaipur

It is not all that we think of when it comes to travelling...you hear ppl sayin ohh its not the best tym to visit the place...try some other place, maybe its too hot or cold there.. Why this place??? And so many endless questions!!!  So this trip to Jaipur and Jaisalmer yeah i know its hot!! Sand all around but who cares.. It was an easy decision to me not only because i get to see new places but also meet some old school frens!!I started my journey from Mumbai by train on thursday evening and reached Jaipur on Friday afternoon.... Best decision coz i get to meet so many people!!  After meeting my fren at the station the next day,we headed to her place..the 1st thing i wanted to do was shopping maybe because i had limited time with me. We visited Ajmeri and did some good shopping.. Please don't forget to bargain...!!!In the evening we headed to Jaisalmer by bus..as we missed the last direct bus we had to go via Jodhpur which was not a bad decision though!! The next day we reached Jaisalmer and as we have hire a private car...after freshening up we 1st went to see the lake The Gadisar Lake which is a calm and beautiful place... You will find people playing the folk music which is very soothing.. After spending some time there and clicking photos we headed to our dstination Sam sand and dunes!! And trust me the camel safari, the folk dance, the sunset, sleeping under the stars the sunrise it was worth it!!! The next day we visited Kuldhara village, its a cursed village, you will hardly meet ppl there but its a must visit when in Jaisalmer.. There is an old story about this village which is quiet interesting.. Movin ahead we went to visit the Jaisalmer Fort.. So many people and such beautiful fort it was a woww moment for us!! The day was over at Jaisalmer now and it was time to head back to Jaipur..The next day we visited the Amer Fort and Nahargarh Fort.. Nahargarh Fort is famous for the Rang De Basanti shooting..so thats a plus point but apart from this you should visit it for the city view from this Fort!! We also got to see the City Palace and Jal Mahal.. Jal Mahal.. unfortunately ppl are not allowed to go and visit it from inside.. you get to see it way back from the Forts to the City..The evening we visited Chauki Dani which is a very well known place known for its folk dances, the traditional food for its beautiful interiors and many more..!!! My day ended late..i was tired but exicted too.. The next day i was back in Mumbai with so many memories and some new frens!!!

Shopping!!!
