It was the first day of our trip to Nainital the true city of lakes .
We were five in the group , all from Kanpur we boarded the train at 6:00 AM which took some 10 hours to drop us in Kathgodam .
Then we took a cab from kathgodam to Nainital which took around 1 and a half hour to reach then we searched for a hotel in naini lake region by the grace of god we really found a steal deal from oyo rooms as i also had the gold membership . We booked a villa of 3 rooms and 1 common room with kitchen and all the rooms attached bathroom for just 3750 rupees for 4 days . Then it was around 7 in the evening we set out for some local touring and got a nice and good restaurant named ' sweet home' you can search it on google maps and must try place if you're on budget trip also . We were really tired so we got into our beds

But it took more time than expected so for a thought you can really negotiate the prices of the bikes so be good at bargaining to win the real deal . Our first day spot was Mukteshwar

Today we were more excited and energetic because we were upto discover 3 places in total for today . First it was bhimtal where we tried some short height paragliding which costed around 1200 per person you can negotiate the price further as we brought the price down from 2000 per head you can also try boating and other water activities over bhimtal area . Next stop was naukuchiya tal which was not worth the visit as there were no good restaurant over there and the pond was dry next was rani khet you can cover these three places easily if you start early and don't use much of your time in bhimtal and naukuchiya tal as they are nearby so it wouldn't take much time. Rani khet was an amazing view place you can try trekking over here
Last day in Nainital so we wanted it to be in Nainital only for first we visited the tiffin top . For which there are two ways one is a trekking and other horse riding ( which costs around 1000 for up and down or as per negotiation and weather ) we were fresh so we opted for the trekking , it wasn't that difficult so you can complete it if you have patience and can surely save some time when doing some off track trekking . You can get good food in the top so it's totally worth the next we set out for some market place and just roamed around the roads and then took a cab to Kathgodam and the trip was finally over .
