Day 1
Situated about 40 km from the city Sagour in Madhya Pradesh this little place is called Rangir. The first and the best thing you will notice about this place is the drive. All along the roadside you will find wheat fields, scrub forests and tiny hamlets. One can find our rural culture hidden inside these hamlets in the purest forms. After an hour long drive you reach Rangir which is small village situated atop a hill. The most famous thing here is the temple of goddess Harsiddhi who is famous for changing her form with the time of the day. However apart from this temple there is another temple situated inside a cave. In addituon to these two temples Rangir is blessed with natural beauty. Across the temples is a river meandering through dense forests. One can enjoy this view from the forest rest house situated right across. Buit in 1926, this rest house is perfect for a bonfire weekend getaway in vintage cottage style. In all Rangir is a good place to spend a stressbuster weekend.
