The Long Way Home - A Solo Ride from New Delhi to Chennai

Tripoto

Hello everyone,

Towards the end of June 2016 (when I was on my way back from Ladakh), I embarked on a mammoth solo journey, riding my Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500 all the way back to Chennai in southern India.

Instead of making my way home by cutting straight through central India, I decided to ride off and explore nearly the entire length of Western India. Over a period of almost 50 days, I rode my motorcycle alone through 8 states covering a distance of more than 7000 kilometres. I wasn't riding to cover distance, but instead used this journey as an opportunity to spend time exploring several places along the way.

The video that I’ve made of this journey is up on my YouTube Channel. Please do watch using the link below.
