Apart from the amusement and entertainment, Thailand is also known for the Hindu and Buddha temples and certain old temple ruins. We have heard a lot about how delicious Thai food is, and I am salivating just by thinking about it. To all the shopaholics, shopping in Thailand is an absolute delight. I'm going to give you an insight into the most visited places in Thailand. All of them have their own significance along with the blaring nightlife, which is common everywhere in Thailand. So let's begin with the list:

1. Bangkok: the capital city of Thailand, is well known for the Temple of Emerald Buddha. The Statue of Buddha made of Emerald stone and clothed with Gold is the sacred element of Thailand. The Grand Palace is a significant tourist attraction. It has a historic derivative, just like the name implies. Let's get to the beach now! Pattaya beach is really close to Bangkok (an approximately two-hour drive from Bangkok city), and it is one of the most happening beaches of Thailand. You can try all sorts of adventure sports here, including parasailing. Shopping ranges from expensive malls to affordable roadside goods.

2. Phuket: is one of the biggest islands of Thailand, and it is on the west coast of Thailand. It is known to have the most popular beaches in Thailand. Pa Tong beach is the most visited and liked the beach here. Pa Tong is famous for its crazy nightlife. Shopping in Phuket, of course, is worth spending time and money.

3. Krabi: This is another popular place in the Southern part of Thailand. Karabi is famous for its Railay beach. Two slanting hills rising from the sea forms the landmark of Krabi. Another amazing thing to visit here is The Buddha Tiger cave temple. It is surrounded by mangrove forests and is quite famous for limestones too. Karabi is really close to Phi Phi Islands so let's talk about it now.

4. Phi Phi island: Phi Phi comprises of many small islands, and it is located between the large island of Phuket and the Malacca Coast of Thailand. To reach this beautiful island, you can take the speedboat or a long-tail boat from either Krabi or Phuket.

5. Chiang Rai: It is a small but beautiful town in the Northern part of Thailand. It is really close to Myanmar and Laos. Since Thailand is known for the temples, the most famous temples here are The White Temple (Wat Rong Khun) and The Blue Temple. The White Temple is uniquely designed and it is one of the most touristic spots of Thailand. The Blue Temple (Wat Rong Suea Ten) is another must-visit temple.

6. Chiang Mai: is a mountainous city in Northern Thailand. Chiang Mai is really close to Vietnam and Myanmar. The old town of Chiang Mai displays a Cultural Heritage and has a religious focus. The city is full of ancient temples. Outside the Old City, Sophisticated galleries and restaurants adorn the place.

7. Ko Samui: This is the second-largest island in Thailand. Palm trees line the coast. Koh Samui is famous for its sunset. Round the year this island has a pleasant climate condition. Towards the North of Ko Samui, a taste of Chinese tradition lingers. The restaurants and boutiques display Chinese flavours.

A trip to Thailand is definitely going to amaze you in so many ways which you can't even imagine. It brings out the 'Party and chill' side of us. I want to end by saying it is essential to pack light while going to Thailand because you are going to return with truckloads of heavy baggage after all the shopping you will do there.
