The place is very peaceful with beautiful monasteries. You will also find many sovienier shops.
Magnificent architecture. Great place to hangout with friends and click tons of pictures. Easiest way to commute is by taking a auto rickshaw from the main town. But there a also public transports available. There are also lot of cool cafe's around.
The place is worth visiting but the small town is getting too crowded these days due to the massive amount of tourists it attracts.
Uttrakhand has many hidden gems, all you need to do is explore on your own. Remember to be responsible and also take responsibility of your garbage. I found the hidden gems and I did my own part.
