Things are getting back to normal slowly and steadily as we battle COVID-19. These are the latest places open for tourists in India since the recovery rate of the country is getting better day by day.

However, travel rules are subject to change so I would recommend you to keep an eye on the news for fresh updates, as well as the protocols that one needs to abide by.

Goa is now open for travelers after months of shutdown due to the second wave of Coronavirus. It is mandatory for travelers to be fully vaccinated at least 14 days before entering the state. Besides, people who can present a negative COVID-19 test report, accredited by ICMR labs will be allowed to enter Goa as well.

Since no travel restrictions have been imposed by the state government, Manali is open for tourists currently. However, it's important to wear a mask, use sanitizer and maintain social distancing to avoid any trouble. We need to be mindful about the locals as well, while we indulge in traveling to our favorite destinations.

The Moon Land, Ladakh never really locked down in the pandemic. However, the Ladakh administration has strengthened the guidelines a bit as a precautionary measure. Tourists need to carry negative RT-PCR reports, not older than 96 hours before entering the Union Territory. If not, they will have to undergo the Rapid Antigen Test at the Leh airport.
