Tired? Want a break? Some International destination would be perfect for you right now? What about sand dunes in the desert and your hotel is in the middle of sand dunes and you get a perfect Arabian nights view of the sunset. I went to Dubai this vacation and there is a desert luxury hotel where we stayed. It is Qasr Al Sarab and it is built by Anantara. It is a five star luxury property which is in the middle of the desert and is covered by sand dunes.

The Hotel had a great ambience. We landed in Dubai and a car from the Hotel was waiting to fetch us. The Hotel was around 2 hours from the airport and it is built 40 km inside the desert. The entire road journey after halfway was only deserts everywhere and it was extremely beautiful. When we reached the Hotel, I was stunned to see the lobby, it was extremely well furnished. The chandelier was beautiful and gave the perfect Dubai feeling. The hotel looked like it was straight out of a legend. It was literally a legend come out alive.

The food

The pool was in the middle of sand dunes and it looked extremely calm and peaceful. Out of the many things to be doing in Dubai, this experience was truly the best. The welcome drink that they served with dates were amazing. The food was also great. There was a buffet but the overall quality of food and the taste was delicious. They had all kinds of cuisines. The best food was the Bakhlava, which is an Arabian dish. The breakfast spread was also vast. The dining area was beautiful. Not a lot could be seen at night because it was dark except a few stars in the sky. In the morning, the sun had come out and the vast view of the sand dunes till the horizon was visible. It was grand and majestic.

Climbing sand-dunes

In the evening there is this activity where you can climb a sand dune to view the sunset. The experience was exhilarating. Climbing a sand dune with my bare feet was great. It felt like it was cleansing and calming my soul. The sand was warm and the it was cooling down as evening came. We were an entirely family climbing the sand dune and there is a really happy picture painted in my mind related to this event. It is also very poetic. The hotel gave us amazing memories.

Except a chill time at the hotel, the rooms were very pleasant and the bathrooms had bathtubs. There was a balcony to view the stars and to sit and relax. The room wasn't furnished antiquely but it still had a very grand vibe to it. The furniture was modern. At night, we enjoyed drinking date wine. It was one of the rarest and fanciest things that I have tried.

This Hotel is definitely on the top of my list and it has been the most amazing hotel experience so far. It is not just a hotel, it is an opportunity for an experience of a lifetime.

Cost

The rooms cost around INR 40,000 per night. You can book the rooms online or get in touch with the hotel.
