Hey guys, I hope you you liked the Part 1 series from earlier posted travel blog. In my series for Part 2, I explored a few exiting places within and outside tokyo city on my day 3 and day 4. Also I would like to add, you have to walk a lot throughout Tokyo to change train stations and go to different places in no time, so please keep water bottles in your bag, to be hydrated and dont forget to keep train station map. Cheers!!

Day 3

Day 3: I was really tired from my last night visit from harajuku Takeshita street market. I came hotel and was carrying Maggie packets from India. I made them in my kettle, had them and went for sleep. Next day I started early. I had planned to visit Tokyo Fuji Art Museum. I took train from Shin Okubo to JR Hachioji Station (48 mins). Then took a 20 mins bus for the Museum. Finally, I arrived at the Museum. The admission fee was at a discounted price for 1000 YEN which is generally for 1300 YEN. You get to use the wifi, it had a restaurant and a store to buy the art suff. I attended the exhibition "Through the Eyes of René Huyghe". The exhibitions keeps on changing in different seasons. You can check their websites prior to the visit. It was a nice French exhibition with paintings of Birth and Evolution in major styles. WARNING : People with no interest in paintings, please dont go, you might get bored. To be honest, I got a little bored there. But as I shared, you can check the exhibitions prior. though I liked a few POP ART paintings by Andy Warhol.

Then I visited Soka Gakkai International University, which is just opposite the Fuji Museum. Actually the idea was to visit my friends, Fuji Art Museum just happened. A few of my Gakkai members and friends were studying there. They made me visit the beautiful collage property in acres. They suggested the best time to visit was actually in March or April as beautiful cherry blossom blooms and it is a treat to watch the collage and in-fact the whole tokyo looks magnificent. Here have a look at some of the amazing pictures from there.

I bought a few books and stationary from the Soka Gakkai Store within collage and had a subway sandwich from the canteen as my lunch. Greeted my friends a warm goodbye and went on to visit towards my next destination, which was on the other end of tokyo. It was already 2 pm and I had to quickly rush. I took train from JR Hachioji Station to Odaiba Station. It is not a direct station, you need to change in between. It took (1 Hour 20 Mins) to reach.

I had planned to visit Teamlabs Boderless Digital Art Museum, which I had been waiting for the whole time in this trip. It's near Tokyo Eye. I was now about to enter the world of digital art for the first time in my life. Again entering the FUTURE. It was a visual treat guys. Its a must visit and completely worth it.

How to book tickets?

It's difficult to actually go and purchase live tickets at the venue, as it is almost sold out every-time. However, you can book them online. But challenge I faced while booking was you need to have an international debit/credit card. What I did, on day 1, I requested my hotel help desk staff to book the ticket for me from their card and I paid them 3,200 YEN. I was sorted, thanks to them. I was so crazy to get there "I know guys, I had worked so hard for the tickets". Again saying, do not miss it.

Guys it was one of the best days of my life. I explored myself to a new dimension of digital art. I am really grateful for this awesome day. Felt truly blessed.

Day 4

DAY 4: It was tiring but a fulfilling day 3. Finally Day 4 came. It was my last day, next day was my flight back to India. I was a little bummed. But still had a whole new day in front of me to explore. This brought, the will and excitement back. Today's itinerary was Kanagawa Prefecture in Yokohama and Kamakura Town just a little on the outskirts.

It took 52 mins from metro to reach Kanagawa. I planned to visit Soka Gakkai Kanagawa Cultural Center.

My next stop to visit was Kanagawa town. It is a beautiful town and particularly to reach there, the main metro line ends and a small Toy Train starts to visit the town. It's a small town and train goes in between the houses with almost no gaps on the sideways and with amazing beach views too. It felt like I was at a hill station (Darjeeling). The place is famous for its THE GREAT BUDDHA statue. I couldn't visit there, I went to the beach and mostly covered the streets. It felt like an older version of Japan with wooden structures and old buddhist temples. I loved the vibe of place. Beach was fun too!
