The Shaniwarwada Fort in Pune
The fort, a massive structure, is said to be haunted by the spirit of a young prince, who was brutally murdered within its precincts. It is believed that the spirit of the young prince roams the fort, on full moon nights. Legend has it that the cries of the young prince, as he was being murdered, can be heard loud and clear, especially at night, when the fort is deserted.

Jatinga in Assam
Jatinga is a small village in Assam infamous for an unexplained phenomenon that occurs there, that of mass deaths of birds. The village gets migratory birds from far corners of the world. But, tragically, these birds never fly back.
In a mysterious and yet to be understood phenomenon, the birds just drop dead, everywhere. What is spooky is that birds flying over a specific, one-mile stretch, fall to their death, on moonless nights in the months of September and October, between 18:00 and 21:30 hours.
