1. Ride along the coastline at Corbyn Cove beach

The ride along the coastline in Port Blair from Corbyn Cove beach to the Cellular Jail is a spectacular sight indeed. Rent a bike and let the sea breeze whip against your face as the endless blue wonder stretches beside you till the horizon. The water is crystal clear and the shore is dotted with boulders all along the way. The road near Marina Park is also a beauty to drive on.

2. Long drive to Wandoor Beach

Port Blair to Wandoor Beach is a long drive for about an hour; winding through empty and scenic routes, it is a treat for those who drive in the dense traffic of the urban concrete jungle. A quiet and desolate beach tucked away from all the tourist noise, go there for a quiet afternoon and a sip of delicious tender-coconut water.

3. Trek at Elephant Beach – Havelock

Elephant Beach in Havelock Island is a place like none other. A dense, dangerous forest shields this beach from the rest of the island. The journey is way more interesting than the destination involving a treacherous trek in the wilds. Please wear appropriate footwear and folks with kids and elderly avoid this beach.

Some have been lucky enough to catch glimpses of komodo dragons there along with different types of crabs and the awesome mudskippers. The beach in itself has many water-sports including banana boat and jet-skiing.

4. Witness the sunset at Radha Nagar beach – Havelock

Touted to be the best beach of Asia 2004 by Time’s magazine, this beach is the best place to witness sunset. It will be crowded in the evenings but you won’t feel a thing coz the beauty of the place is enough to engulf you and keep you gawking. Make sure you try some of the fruit chats available at the beach especially Starfruit & Papaya.

The timings begin from 06:00 hours to 12:00 hours. Even if you do not know how to swim, it isn’t an issue as an instructor accompanies each diver.
