A travel photographer always thinks about his subject of focus while clicking the photos. A travel photographer could be capturing landscape or portrait but the centre of focus should be perfect and efficient. The best place for clicking portrait as well as landscape is if you set out for NORTH EAST. The land of Brahmaputra, Guwahati is a place where you can click lot of portraits, especially if you climb to Kamakhya Temple, You'll definitely get good portraiture. I would suggest to carry 105mm lens for portrait as well as 50 mm lens. 50 mm lens can give you wide aperture. Though zoom lens can give you more efficient shots. Now I'm writing about Shillong. Meanwhile on the way to Shillong, you'll find the beautiful landscape. Prepare with 50mm or 35mm. Fish eye lens also can give different aspects and angles. Rather I would prefer to have 50 mm. The colour execution in damn sexy. The view points, mawkdok, tashi all will blow up your mind, so prepare with 50mm. Dawki, Living root bridge, maushinram, mawlinlong will attract your eyes. So my opinion to all the travel photographers out there. Prepare with your weapon and shoot, create the magic, capture the beauty.
Good Luck folks!
