Day 1

Bro and Sis first foreign trip together.

And it all started like;

After the flight landing, hotel check-in and other formalities, came in our first quest for exploring Dubai. To make things enjoyable we had booked a private ride, Lexus service for the next 4 days. However, talking economically, I would suggest you all to rely more on public transports. Coming back to the trip discussion, after checking in into the Hotel Gloria, we decided to start with something with which we were most comfortable at - Shopping! And that too in none another than the world's largest mall where there was a shop for everything you can ever think of. The mall pays homage to high fashion with more than 70 signature stores in its dedicated Fashion Avenue.

Day 2

Nothing beats the feeling of being on top of this world

This infrastructure beauty. An experience of a lifetime. We went to the 124-125th floor. The elevators are so fast that as you just take few deep breaths and Boom, there you are. And what a sight! Also they feature special soundtracks developed specially for " Burj Khalifa ". While the world has seen many tall towers, this building is the first to include residential space.

COST : 125 AED per person

At around 455 meters, Level 125 offers a spacious deck tastefully decorated in Arabic Mashrabiya for stunning 360-degree views.

We stepped on to, Dubai – A Falcon’s Eye View that allows you to explore Dubai as you fly over the city. Capturing the moments in our hearts forever we left to further explore downtown Dubai.

Now, talking about the beauty of this place is that you get to see a captivating fountain show, with full on music and light over the waters. It is actually the world's second largest choreographed fountain. And it is totally worth your time. After this, we just had some good dinner at Shake Shack and retired for the day.

Day 3

After two days of hectic walks and sight seeing, we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast of our hotel, the most this day. The food was appetizing and also our energy booster.

So, we headed to the Marina Yacht Club which looked no less than a movie set. And it called for some showtime. And we clicked to collect more memories.

After this, a sudden change of course came through and we started to head towards Abu Dhabi only to find Ferrari World, in Yas mall.

Filled with fascinating rides and experiences, the day was going very well. The most scary ride was the formula rossa, the world's fastest roller coaster in the world.

COST: 295 AED per person

After the gasp of breath moment, we decided to do something peaceful and then comes our visit to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, that is considered to be the key site for worship in the country.

Sheikh Zayed Mosque : It is a must if you are visiting Abu dhabi and UAE. An amazing mosque with beautiful finishes, photos clearly do not do justice to this beauty. In order to enter the mosque you have to be covered and women have to wear a scarf in addition as they need to cover their head as well. I recommend you all to dress appropriately for this serene experience.

Also, try to go just before sunset to make the most of both the day and night mode. If you see the outside to be beautiful get ready to be mesmerized with the mosque's grand stunning inside view.

After this super hectic day, we wanted to have a light dinner and we opted for Saravana Bhavan this time. And just crashed onto our bed after this.

Day 4

Jumeirah Beach Residence

The next day begins with the most posh area of Dubai, JBR! Don't even think of parking your car here. It will cost you a day's meal maybe. But the view is splendid and you can't think of missing this place. From here you can have a view of the Dubai Eye Wheel.

Just after JBR we decided to come to the City Walk, Dubai. It is the newest addition to Dubai’s shopping and dining scenes.

Next in our list was the quintessential view of Burj-Al-Arab located beside a beach. The beach is clean which makes it even more attractive to spend a few hours here and see the sun set and just enjoy solitude.

After a little warm sand and water we wanted to have some coffee and so some shopping for the family, as we had come to the last day of our trip.

Burj-Al-Arab

It was Ibn Battuta Mall- the themed shopping mall that we had planned to explore before leaving. Coffee fans can sniff Starbucks from far across.

And mind you, it was probably one of the fanciest starbucks we have seen in Dubai or any where else for that matter. The mall had to be checked for its varied themes so we took a while to check it out while keeping a track of the time.

Apart from all this, we went for Dhow Cruise and also visited Deira Gold Souk, as a trip to Dubai is incomplete without it.

P.S. Couldn't cover Desert Safari as the plan was in September and it was not kinda ideal to go there. So, recommending Dubai visits between November to February.

I hope you guys liked what I shared and got an idea of what can be done when you are in this city.

Cheers!
