Deo Tibba is a beautiful trek that would take you to the grazing pastures of the Gaddi shepherds, and offers magnificent views of the Deo Tibba peak (6,001 m) and its huge hanging glaciers. As you traverse across mountain streams, meadows and log bridges, the panorama of the mighty Himalayas keeps changing to give you an authentic feeling of the Greater Himalayan range, which in turn makes this a trek worth experiencing. It is an absolute delight for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts too. This trek is suitable for all age groups with a difficulty level of easy to moderate.

Our representatives will meet you in Manali at 9:00 AM. After a briefing session, we will drive towards the village of Jagatsukh till the Baraah Hazaari Hydro Water Station, which is the starting point of the trek. We will trek for around 3 hours to reach our first campsite at Chikka which has large flat pastures – perfect for camping. The trek is through thickly forested hillsides of Oak and Deodar, sprawling lush green meadows carpeted with a myriad variety of wild flowers and herbs. Overnight stay in tents. Meals: Lunch and dinner.

After breakfast we make our way to Seri where we will camp for the next two nights. The trail climbs gradually the whole way. Seri is a beautiful flat meadow, the size of a few football grounds, surrounded by peaks on all sides. This is where the Jagatsukh Nala flattens out completely. Overnight stay in tents. Meals: All meals.

4 October 2014: Seri – Tenta (13,775 ft.) – Seri
Today, we leave in the morning for Tenta which offers magnificent views of the daunting Mount Deo Tibba with its huge hanging glaciers rising high in front of us. The trail gets exciting with three shallow streams to cross (no bridges) after Seri! If the weather gods permit, one could see Chota Chandratal at a distance – a tiny beautiful lake with emerald blue water. After spending some time in exploring the area, we’ll head back to Seri. Overnight stay in tents. Meals: All meals.

100% Safe to visit Nepal after the Earthquake Annapurna Base Camp story I was this trek on starting June 01th and Back Kathmandu 14th June 2015 Nepal is safe for traveling! According to the information from various sources such as Trekking Agencies Association (TAAN) and Nepal Tourism Board, Everest Base Camp and Annapurna Base Camp, Annapurna Circuit , Upper Mustang ,Dolpa, , Kanchenjunga Trek ,Ghorepani Poon hill, Jomsom Trek and Rara are safe for trekking, Pokhara tour, Chitwan safari tour, and Lumbini tour . Therefore, I personally went up to the Annapurna Base Camp on the first week of June. The purpose is to access the condition of the trek as to ensure the safety of the clients in the upcoming autumn season trek from September to November. The condition of the mountain is safe. All the lodges still good. The mountains still look beautiful as before. Do not hesitate to put Nepal as your travel wish list in next season. The beautiful country awaits you to visit. You support will help the country to rebuilt. http://www.nepalguideinfo.com/safe-to-visit-nepal-after-th…/ http://www.nepalguideinfo.com/ http://www.nepalplanettreks.com Email:sanjibtrekguide@gmail.com
