Maney Bhanjan to Sandakphu-Trek
One of the most fascinating treks of my lifetime. Involves a trekking distance of 32 kms which can be covered in 2 days depending on the speed. There are lot of rhodendrons, trees, flowers and lot of wild animals on the way to trek like the red panda, sloth bear and the snow leopard. It is also the way to Singalila National Park which is an important park.It is the best spot for viewing peaks like Kanchenjunga, Lhotse, Makalu and Everest. Sandakphu reaceives lot of rainfall so the best time to visit this place is Mar-Apr if one wants to witness snow in the region..Also one can achieve the best view of Kanchenjunga, Mt Everest, Lhotse and Makalu during Mar-Apr. There is wilderness in this place to the maximum level..covered with dense trees and forests..
Sandakphu to Phalut by trekking
Phalut can be reached from Sandakphu by trekking although the height of Phalut is lesser as compared to Sandakphu. All the peaks can be visible even more clearly from Phalut like Lhotse, Makalu, Mt Everest and Mt Kanchenjunga. The entire road from Sandakphu to Phalut is very adventurous...Covered with dense trees and forests this entire area receives huge rainfall during June-Aug. The sky remains very clear during Jan-Apr and we have bone chilling winters in this region. Also the food served in these places has aroma of the eastern culture. A perfect place of vacation for all adventure, mountain and nature lovers and a must visit place to see the splendid peaks of Kachenjunga and Mt Everest.
