Trip to North Goa

Tripoto
13th Nov 2019

Hello Travelers, I want to share my travel itinerary to Goa(north). I have been there to Goa twice at different period of time(Oct and Nov) then finding it more relevant to give glimpse of this beautiful city.

Points to remember:

Preferred mode of travel: Flights, planned the journey in advance so that you can get the cheap flight tickets.

Preferred mode of travel within Goa: Scooty, Car (rental with yellow plates to avoid any problem).

Thing remember to carry: Government ID, Driving license, Sun screen(higher SPF), Shades, Cap or Hat.

Taxis in Goa: Fares of taxis are usually higher at night than day. You can book it from the Goa Airport itself.

Navigation: Popular places in Goa can be easily navigated through GPS but you should ask the locals about the same.

Water sports: Usually starts from November- February at Baga, Calangute beach

Now let me welcome to the city of beaches, nightlife and love. In north Goa, my recommendation is to book the place in and around Arpora or Anujana through Airbnb or Booking.com. Don't invest so much money into the booking for the place to stay because the beauty of the Goa lies outside your room not inside. You will find the place of accommodation at very reasonable price. My another suggestion is to prepare your breakfast at your place. The places for breakfast(being north Indian) is pretty limited and costly. The house/hostel/room used to provide the kitchen with induction and useful utensils. Try to save some money over here.

Day 1

First day, We have visited Fort Aguada Fort on the very first day of our trip. This place is calm and beautiful, you can enjoy the view of Sinquerim beach over there. This place is near to both Arpora and Anjuna.

After completing the visit to Aguada Fort, you can visit to nearby beaches, I will suggest to go for Calangute beach for lunch. As an non-vegetarian, I will suggest you to try fishes in Goa. They are specialized in making good and authentic sea food in comparison to chicken or mutton. Plus, Try their local drink called as Feni.

You can talk a walk from Calangute to Candolim beach to enjoy the scenic beauty of the sea. It will be a pleasant experience for sure.

At night, I will prefer to go to Baga beach for sure. It is a heaven in Goa at night. Shacks, music, crowd will be a pleasant view at night.

Second day, You can travel to either Calangute or Baga for water Sports. The price of different water sports varies but they have their own fun. Try to do Banana ride, Jet Skiing, Parasailing over there. You will surely love this experience.

Day 2

You can choose to travel to Panjim at evening. It is very well developed city in Goa and go place to shop something for your love ones. It will take around 40-45 mins from Arpora to reach there.

After shopping, You can choose to go to Casino( a must go place in Goa). I will prefer you to go to Deltin Royal (Approx. cost 4000 per person), it will be an ultimate experience to play various casino/card games, unlimited food and drinks, their shows and performances are excellent. It was a very nice experience with Deltin. Thumps up.

Third day, you can choose to visit some hidden treasure of Goa, I would like to say some not so common places in Goa. The beaches at this location are pretty calm and not so much crowded as compare to earlier beaches. It will add some different experiences in your journey.

Day 3

We have started our day with Morjim Beach, what a beautiful place. The scenic beauty is surreal and you can enjoy your time by walking bare foot at the beach. The water is crystal clear and it can be rated as one of the cleanest beach in Goa.

After enjoying the view of Morjim, you can head towards Ashwem Beach, which has its own importance and beauty. You can easily find the sea water divided in between the land(refer to picture below). I thoroughly enjoyed both the beaches.

After Ashwem beach, you can head towards Arambol Beach in Goa. It will be the crowded as compare to both the beaches in this belt. Arambol is good for night life, partying, booze. My suggestion is to stop any one of these beaches for the sun set.

Head towards your place and get ready for some nightlife in Goa style. There are some places which are excellent in music, Bar, dance and crowd. You can try for LKP, Club Cabana, Tito's Club, Sinq Bar or Cafe Lilliput. I, either, have been there or heard a lot about this places. Most of the time, these places are pretty crowded and provide unlimited booze or food(depending upon the package).

Day 4

Fourth or last day of your trip, You should to visit early sunrise at any close beach and plan your journey towards Chapora Fort(Know as Dil chahata hai fort). The place is very humid and it is known for click pictures at the Fort. You can see the view of Vagator beach. The view from this fort is pleasant and beautiful. You can plan to go to the Vagator beach as well. It is known for its beauty.
