It was a mundane  friday evening and I had resigned  from my job for better prospects.  Suddenly  my friends come up with an idea of a road trip to Kolhapur, so after lot of discussion we planned our activities but suddenly out of the blue it struck me that there is still an uncharted territory which needs to be striked out of my bucket list The mesmerising Nagarmadi Falls. So i suggested my friends instead of driving  to Kolhapur lets go to Nagarmadi falls. The drive was a good 2 and half hours. After a never ending wait for Rohan and sujay we finally started at 8 from Vasco da Gama for Nagarmadi falls. On the way we had a halt at Darbar Restaurant in Cuncolim to grab our breakfast. After having our fill we resumed our journey. Just before the Pollem checkpost we made a halt to grab some beers and wine. We were skeptical  as we were scared that authorities  may catch us for carrying alcohol but it went smooth.

After another 20 minutes of driving from the  check post  we finally reached our destination. We parked our car  outside a house they charge you a nominal Rs. 25 for a day and taking care of your car. From there it is almost 2 kms to the falls. We were in a fix how will we transport the alcohol  and food to the  top. Then we came with a brilliant  idea of passing the parcel we decided that every member will carry the load for 10 minutes  and shift accordingly.
After a good one hour ordeal we reached our destination. The majestic and mesmerising  Nagarmadi falls. The climb was worth it. Once a top we quickly had a dip in the cold inviting waters taking away all the stress and tiredness  accompanied with cold beer. We spent a good 3 hours and then made a descent. Our mind was ready to go home  but  heart was not. But with a heavy heart we left home hoping to return again one day!!
