Hampi, we started our journey one fine evening from manglore, thanking Ganesh travels for their daily bus services.

The next morning, we woke up to the essence of hampi. We could get many option to wander around there, as my time was less, opted an auto as our option,  next thing we need is someone to spread us the history, culture and other information about hampi so found a licensed guide, these two requires a bit bargain skills.

We started from the virupaksha temple, my guide was good in sharing the history, past and present of his place and we ended it at the tungabhadra dam. Most parts of hampi are ruins, all showing the beauty of ancient architecture, apt for fine photography. Climate was plesant and hampi is surrounded with a bit nature. The most attraction is the stone ages showing the ancient cultures, religions and their beliefs.
Finding a stay over there is easy, as many hotels, homestays are easily available. Hampi is a budget freindly place.
