The Journey to city of lake Udaipur. I planned this trip on my birthday and never thought it will turn out so beautiful. The place is so beautiful and different. I booked my train from Delhi to Udaipur . We reached in morning. We went to hotel and checked-in but we had to wait, as we reached early. We had our breakfast in meantime. We booked zostel in Udaipur its in center of the city and near to lake. We took some rest and in the evening went to visit the City palace, situated at Lake Pichola. I am mesmerized with the beautiful and huge, man made lakes of Udaipur. The evenings were beautiful at the lake side.The first day ended with a beautiful sunset .
We had local street breakfast and for local tour of the city, we rented 2 scooty. We have planned to visit Fateh Sagar lake and near by places on day 2 .It had beautiful shore and the walkway. Boats in the lake and the scenic beauty is breathtaking. Fateh Sagar lake is too big and beautiful .You can also visit shilpgram as its near to lake . Another piece of gem, where you can see old Indian lifestyle, a culture relive.This place i s not so popular but i liked the place. On way back to hotel had Kachoorees from street vendor which was delicious.The last spot for day 2 was Saheliyon-ki-Bari . We reached their it was dark . Its beautiful park with flowers and fountains .Saheliyon-ki-Bari is a major garden and a popular tourist space in Udaipur in Indian state of Rajasthan. It lies in northern part of the city and has fountains and kiosks, a lotus pool and marble elephants. It was built by Rana Sangram Singh. There is also a small museum here which was closed when we reached.Than we went back to hotel.
The last day in Udaipur we went to see Vintage car museum . They have very few cars and tickets are too costly . Just near to museum their park i forgot the name . But its big park with looks like forest with so many trees . If you are lucky you can see different birds their. This park had small train running inside it . It also had beautiful rose garden with different types of roses.It had an old monument inside it which is now library . You can see lots of medicinal plants with name in this park. We left as we have to catch the train back to Delhi . The journey came to an end with beautiful memories . Thanks for reading .
