Day 1

If we are talking about the historical culture, magnificent forts , palaces and the identification of royalty culture , the foremost name is "The City Of Lakes : Udaipur."

I along with my family visited the world famous city , Udaipur in the month of September'17. We took the night train journey and reached in morning around 8 am.

Then , after freshen up , the first thing we do was of course breakfast but after that we in first place visited the most famous, magnificent and royal "The City Palace".

SPECIAL TIP :. The timings of opening and closing is from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm on all 7 days.

The City Palace was build over 400 years ago and was maintained by various rulers of the Mewar dynasty. The palace is situated at the coast of lake pichola.

As soon as we entered the palace , I was amazed by the beauty and vast palace I've ever seen till now.
I am a bit crazy about the historical facts , archaeological sculptures . And this place is like a heaven for me.

There are many untold stories , facts and figures that was carved on the walls of the palace . We experienced many equipments , paintings , vintage cars and what not in the city palace.
The palace was surrounded with the evergreen plants , trees. I am really impressed by the cleanliness and development of the palace.

Also , the now Maharaja of the city palace lives with his family in half of the palace , means what I saw was actually a half of the palace .
It concludes that this palace is humangously huge.

After witnessing the beauty of the palace we move forward to saw one of the luxury hotels of India , i.e , "Jag Mandir".

It was situated in the middle of the the lake pichola . So to reach there , we boarded in the boat , through which we arrived at the hotel. This hotel is a reflection of how years before maharajas was used to live .

So you can imagine how luxurious was this hotel will be . This hotel also include a wide park , gaming area , a small museum , private rooms as well as suites as well and also include a terrace sitting area and a private bar are. Isn't it amazing. The Jag Mandir is also one of those places where many big weddings , pre wedding shoots are being done . So one can frame a mind by this how beautiful and luxurious this place will be.

After exploring all this palaces , we arrived finally at the fatehsagar lake ( most awaited).
And at another moment we are doing a ferry round of the Fatehsagar Lake. The view was very amazing , gorgeous and the weather was perfect ( breezy , calm ,cool).
During that ferry ride , we also witness many luxurious hotels , resorts and a great place to calm yourself.

Also there are many options apart from ferry ride such as private boat , motorboat  and many more.
It is advisable to experience this ride before the sunset , because after the sunset all the rides are closed and you will not be able to experience the breathtaking and magnificent view of the city.

Then to end our day , we had the most famous and a must must thing at Fatehsagar Lake , i.e , coffee in a mud pot. I preferred hot coffee because of the chilly weather , it tastes so yummy and delicious.
Also at the chowpatty , which is at the coast of Fatehsagar Lake , one can find a varied range of foods and also there are many fun filled activities like camel riding and many more.

So guys , if you are looking for a place to witness royalty and a scenic view , Udaipur is a place for you my friend.

With adventure,
Shruti
