Unchallenged Beauty

Lansdowne has been the most visited place this summer for families as well as youngsters. The small place in Uttarakhand doesn't have many heritage places, markets or anything elaborated but the beauty itself soothes you, making you drool in it. The trip is just 266 km and would take 5-6 hours maximum which makes it very desirable for road trips. This trip will tell you even the roads can speak, the wind can wave and the hills can smile.

All hotels were filled with booking but we somehow managed to get rooms at Tip-in-top which is at a really good height and near to the most beautiful view point. Anyone at that point would feel like he/she had a taste of heaven. The view - the Earth kissing the sky and there meeting is way too pleasant for you to even believe on your own eyes.

Even the nights seemed so beautiful in just the presence of the moon which also makes this an ideal place for setting your tents out and get into your sleeping bags with bonfire on the side.

The hotel we stayed at was a little different from hotels I have lived in before. It didn't have classy big rooms with cliche stuff or fancy bathrooms but wooden flooring. We were offered cottages and I must say, What houses! Nice space, again not very elaborated just perfect.

The hotel was not much away from the main city and market (just 3kms) with Churches and temples at walking distance. If summed up together, an amazing place for nature lovers, travellers, beauty admirers and a perfect yet different weekend getaway.
