As a part of our travel club's project "Khushboo Gujarat Ki", we were on a mission to explore almost every district of Gujarat one by one. During the project we came to know about this beautiful village Kevdi.
Kevdi village is located in Chhota Udaipur Tehsil of Vadodara district in Gujarat, India. It is situated 26 km away Chhota Udaipur and 136 km away from the major city Vadodara.
This small village has around 250 houses. The place is surrounded by lush green forest areas and has rich wildlife. The place is also near to the holy Narmada River.
Most popular place in this area is Ratanmahal Bear Sanctuary situated in Narmada district.
The main attraction is the sloth bear. There are many other wild animals and reptiles can be spotted.
There is a beautiful campsite in Ratanmahal Sloth Bear Sanctuary. This Eco campsite is surrounded by a rich variety of flora and fauna.
The villages have beautiful wall paintings and their unique lifestyle, customs and rituals are very interesting. Undoubtedly this is one of the best rural tourism destination in Gujarat.
The Sardar Sarovar Dam is also near by major tourist attraction. One can get taxis to reach the dam site.

By road: Bharuch, Rajpipla, Chanod, and Dabhoi are accessible by cars and buses.
