We the unmappers took that step. With all our plans set, we embarked to live a dream. It takes time for best things to come. There may be delays, there may be hurdles, but winning these is what makes the journey memorable. We won over the rains and delayed flights in Mumbai and landed into 'Heaven on Earth'-Srinagar.
The breeze welcomed us with its chillness,
The people welcomed us with their warmth.
The house boat felt like home
The shikhara ride felt serene
And the sunset felt like time had just ceased.
Conversations flowed at night
With the houseboat owner throwing light
On the situations that were'nt very right.
We gave our views,
And our reviews
With a promise to tell everyone to visit this Heaven on Earth
We slept with a heavy heart
One day was too less in this place that stole our heart
But we striked a deal with our heart to come back again soon
Thinking of all the places that awaited
Thinking of the further steps to be unmapped
The unmappers embraced the night with peace at heart.
