The plains become unbearably hot in June. All one can think of is the cooler climes of the hills. So off we went. Parents, dog, kids, hubby and I. We drove around the hills, avoiding the teeming, touristy places.
From Delhi, we broke journey at Bhimtal before proceeding to Jhaltola. 4 quiet days there, we mastered the Art of Nothingness!
Next on the itinerary, Munsyari. Absolute Paradise. Views to die for. After oohing and aahing for 3 days, we made our way to Binsar. Another heavenly place. Our hotel was remotely located. Just the sound of silence, which included the birds and insects.
The hills have a rejuvenating effect on anyone who's in touch with and fond of Nature. Returned rejuvenated.
